A short independent film about two old friends trying to reconnect on a two day camping trip. The cinematography reminded me of a Terrence Malick film, with its minimalist score and long sequences of nature scenes and the quiet away from the city. The dialogue is also sparse but the audience is meant to hear the dialogue in the silence between the two and it makes for a pretty powerful and realistic film about friendship. I wanted to see this 'cause Will Oldham--aka Bonnie 'Price' Billy or a zillion other pseudonyms--is one of the two guys. Kanye West also has him in his new music video.
